The primary goal is to make the network robust and stable in distributed mode.

Mode2

Ensure the stability of the distributed network by implementing dart & hashgraph synchronization & catchup. To allow offline nodes to go online again.

Longitudinal network testing

Continuously test the network stability in a distributed network

Unique contract id on outputs (TIP-7)

Ensure that archives produced by one contract can not be modified by another contract.

DART Contract epoch outputs (TIP-11)

Ensure consistent timestamps on all database archives produced by smart contracts.

HiRPC Multi mode signatures (TIP-12)

Enable the future use of other signature schemes than secp256k1, by adding an identifier to public key and signatures.

DART Blake3 records hash (TIP-15.)

Ensure efficient hash calculation on larger databases.
We'll add a conversion table for compatibility with old wallets.

Tests for protocol violations

Ensure that the network can handle malformed protocols and stress tests
